im playing as man utd vs my mate in a network game -hes playing as chelsea. he is using that formation and just smashed me 4-1 at home , im using 4 2 3 1 deep and it got ripped apart. my tactical knowledge isnt very good, anyone know any suitable ways to counter this ? tactics or suggestions...

papadopolous is a tank if you can get his set piece instructions right :)

if its corrupted - try restarting your pc, happened to me once , I restarted and it worked :)

gael kakuta - machine of a left winger :)

jair ventura - one of the best of the game, also gives valuable scouting on brazilian players:)

sign quality regens :) i.e. 14-16 year old, develop them - your in a weaker league so you can give them more playing time , they develop into superstars quicker :)

i make sure the players i have/sign fit into my tactics - i.e. fast and effective on the counterattack. if they dont fit into my tactics and way of playing I dont sign them - I wouldn't sign messi for example if he didnt fit into the tactics :)

depends what team your managing - he was good for my torino side for a 2-3 seasons - him and bruno manga let in 18 goals in his last two seasons together. once i qualified for cl etc, i bought in regens :D

do you think serie A is one of the easiest leagues to win with a smaller team ?, I have found it a lot easier winning it with torino, then I have the PL with reading/pompey for example.

lorenzo cristig - dm , bruno manga -cb, quintero - poacher, kakuta -amc/aml - get on loan with option to buy ?

when I got pompey/reading promoted I got around 12 million to spend, so im guessing it will be around that figure - maybe even more if your lucky :D

err real player -40 million for papadopolous, 33 mil for a 6'11 regen central defender :D. i mainly signup wonder-kids tho and develop them myself

^^ what this guy said, it depends on how good your pc is, if you can run a lot of leagues at a good pace then go for it :)

good thread:) alfred n'diaye is a very good defensive midfielder and can play equally as well as a defender, bruno ecule manga is an awesome defender (done awesomely for me in serie A/premier league). lorenzo cristig - usually ends up leaving inter 1/2 season in - develops into one of the best...

france/germany/italy/spain/portugal/usa/argentina/brazil/russia/mexico are the ones that i have found to produce the highest quality of regens. south america/africa also produce some gems :D, altho workpermits can be hard to get :(
