As others have said both is the best approach as you need to keep their game time as high as possible for them to develop as well as being at a club with good youth facilities.
I have a 19 year old (at least I think he is still that young) winger that I have kept at the club since I bought him...
Good Luck for the future. I am sure your team talk thread will live on for many years to come :)
I had to do something similar with other games but FM is something that I can pick up and play whenever I want to. Only problem is that I don't get the opportunity to play a lot of seasons with...
I had the same thing coming up for me with Stevie G when I suggested Assistant Manager. I guess it is the fifth one on the list but I can't remember what that is
Using this tactic as your 4-4-2 was inconsistent for me. Since I started using this I've won all but one game. Won all of my champions league group stage games including beating bayern home and away. Romero in the middle has been outstanding as has Suarez up front. If I get a chance I will post...
A reserve match last night ended 36-37 on penalties. Biggest I have ever seen and I never checked out how many misses there were by each team. Made me laugh when I seen it.
Tactic was a tad inconsistent (could just be me/the team) but since I changed the match prep training to def positioning I have gone on a good run beating man utd, Arsenal and Newcastle.
i like to try tactics out but always seem to come back to this one.
Had a quick go, only two friendlies in and I have to say that some of the play is great. Was it intentional to have the DLP on support too? I guess for big games he could always be changed to defend for the extra cover as there are already seven players who would get involved in attack.
How involved do they get in the play in the final third? Would making them a ball winner impact this? Sorry for all the questions, I love trying out new tactics and will be giving this a go tonight
Have you tried with different combinations of roles in the centre of midfield? I am guessing that you have but was wondering if something like two box to box midfielders would work or any other combination. I guess I am just one of those people who likes to stray away from the default for the...
Loved this tactic in FM13 as it worked wonders, I'm also obsessed with playing 4-4-2 and/or having two strikers so it fits the bill :)
Do you get many goals from the two DM's? I played a few pre-season games but was wondering if they get goals like they did in FM13 as Koke used to bang them in...
Liverpool - Team I support and the one I enjoy playing the most
Will try and make a save with a lower league team and build them up but I get bored when it isn't Liverpool
I normally (I have a save going that has lasted four seasons at the moment) have the same problem as I love the start of the season, clearing people out, bringing people in and sorting out the training & tactics etc etc.
I also find that if I don't play as Liverpool I get bored easier than...
Loving the tactic. Finished 2nd in the first season with Liverpool and then done the double in my second season and making it to the semi-final of the Champions League. Bought Koke and Bedner for my two centre mids and they have been a great pairing when both fit. Koke gets injured a lot :(
