and about this 424, i think you can go for rpm on your left central midfielder, and have both of your inside forwards and both of your wing backs on attacking duty to have a bit more agressive chance
My Recommendations
I recommend you to combine the control possession and the tikitaka, first, you choose tikitaka, and then change the passing directness from "much shorter passing" to "shorter passing", then change the tempo from "much lower tempo" to "lower tempo" on the "in possession"...
Plan B
I suggest yo to use BPD + CD in your plan B, but give him the order to pass shorter ( player instruction - shorter pass ), so the BPD will play riskier pass, with shorter passes
