stage 1 is league table for all 24 teams? used to qualify teams to some other competition?
also i see you implemented to many options in advanced rules :D
start with basic competition, try to sort everything about system and after that you can add that stage 1 or some other things.
you have headers for every column(position,name, wins,lost...) and when you click to some column (top of column) your league table will be sorted by that factor
make stage 1 -group A playoff (make new stage names)
make stage 2 -group B playoff
in stage 0 make settings for group 1 and 2. in group 1 set qualification playes 4 and 5- qualify then to group A playoff. Same thing in group B but different playoff
my mistake. its new option added to editor 2015. i forgot you use fm14. i can add that option to editor 2014 so you can try it if you want. its "fixture plan rules" - not "group stage fixture plan" option. if you have editor 2015 you can see this option just under
"use sub league table" option...
i never tried to make league with 2 groups and rounds as you like but you have that option under "group settings". its called "fixture plan rules". i never tried to use it but you can. first make only stage 0 with 24 teams and 2 groups. dont make playoffs. try that "fixture plan" option and test...
its bug. if you want to continue working on previously saved database do next:
1. save file as xml file (uncompressed). use option "save as" and choose name of file
2. save again same file but use option "save"
3. extract fmf file with "recource achiver" in some other folder
4. when you want to...
1. round: 34 teams ---> 17 winners go to round 2
2. round: 24 teams (17 from round + 7 new teams) ---> 12 go to round 3
3. round: 12 teams ----> 6 go to group stage
go to: add nation rules--->add lower divisions--->convert to advanced---> under advanced tree find Skrill Premier ---> stage 0---> league settings--- find points deduction and delete Aldershot from list
