I always go for my play style, don't care about the board, at the end what matters is if you win or not. Although lately i was sacked for not beying able to keep all players satisfied and not because of results.

I don't know if they all do that, but they usually play the game with a tinkered game engine. I never bother to try them, but for time to time a good one comes up.
