- Defending is terrible, they dont bother to tackle or intercept the oposition players at all
- Which again leads to a ridicilous amount of long shots, not to mention most of them go several yards wide of goal
Sadly the ME makes this unplayable for me atm
Been using the beta version in the OP occasionaly for Bayern and every game with Spurs.
Working pretty well teamwise, however i cant get Bale involved on either flank where he barely has any shots at all (He's set as target man/play to feet and cut inside on the right wing)
Should i use him as...
Works pretty good for me so far.
One question though: Should i increase the mentality or change the role of my striker to get more shots out of him?
He averages 1-2 shots pr game, my AMC and Wingers gets 3-5 each.
Its the ME since the new patch thats causing problems with EPL teams i think:
- Amount of Long shots pr game has increased several fold
- Distance covered each game has doubled
- Amount of tackles have doubled
- Same with dribbling from players with instructions forward...
Hey Raikan.
I am curious, do you think i should keep RvP after the second season?
Not sure since i can still get 20+ mill for him at the end of it, and i still have Kagawa, Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck and Ademilson who can play together.
Hey Raikan, i am curious. Is this an alternative tactic you have or are they tweaks we should do on the current tactic: http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2013-discussion/108400-fm13-comparison-fm12-please-read-before-complaining-2.html#post1630482
Okay, thanks
Yeah, the offensive play looks more realistic (One-touch through balls, heel-flicks etc) and entertaining than in my own tactic to say the least..
Defense is still awful though because of the ME.
Hopefully there will be a patch this week
Pretty good tactic, i noticed a difference in the offensive play right away.
One question though, should i do anything else apart from switching to counter when holding onto a lead or playing big teams?
Its probably because of the ME, but i cant help but feeling i am missing something when it comes to getting the best out of Rooney and RvP.
I use a 4-3-2-1 and the players and their roles is as follows:
De Gea (GK-Defend)
Rafael (FB-Auto) Vidic (CD-Stopper) Ferdinand (CD-Cover) Evra (FB-Auto)...
My current tactic seems to work well, however i have no idea how to get the best out of RvP. He barely gets to any chances and when he does, he misses anyway.
There you go.
Also, is it just me or is Cleverley a dangerous option to have in this game?
He was immense in my previous game being involved in 3/4 goals (Got 2 for himself, served one on a plate for Rooney):
