I saw another thread on this site about the xml parsing errors. I took their advice, deleted the settings folder and everything is good again. His post walks you through it step by step.

Went with a smaller database this time around as well. Eliminated some backgrounds. Still the crash. Now I'm getting a "XML parsing error no element found at line 1 of highlights.xml" Any thoughts?

Deleted that game. Began a new game and save and got a crash after a week (with no matches played). So frustrating.

Well, shoot. I thought I downloaded them from here, a World Cup facepack and a Man U facepack (just experimenting, don't judge me).

Hey, I'm new to FM and after searching, I can see someone else had the same problem. I'm hoping you guys can help me out with this game on my Mac. The game works fine - downloaded with Steam to my Mac - and I've been able to download training schedules and a skin (Everton, just trying one out)...

Really struggling here guys. Downloaded with Steam, game is working great but .... I've downloaded facepacks and unzipped them, but when I place them in Path:/Users/username/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2010/graphics/pictures/players they do not show up at all. Is the problem...

Mls Well, as a rookie to FM 2010 and living in the US, I'm about to embark on some MLS duty. Starting with Toronto FC, I think I'll do my learning of the basics before I begin a game in Europe.
