yes you need to change some xml (first to find then)...and add your font into the fonts folder of the skin.
The how to is there...french or english it's the same xml folders...just some more in the last version. Which font you'd like to edit? Please put screens.

it looks like conflict...as you explained that you changed many time skins. First turn your OS so that you can see hidden folders. (it's just an option to tick on the folder menu usually), go to a computer website (ex clubic) and look for "show hidden folders" threads.
