From my experience, I can say that you start to dominate greatly EPL when you a team that consists of 170+ CA players and when you manage one of top clubs then it doesn't take longer than few season to get such team :)

as far as I know in FMT you can choose different match plans that will make changes to your tactic depends on the conditions you set during the match
