Thanks Danny, for the speedy reply! Your 'straight-to-the-point' answer sounds awfully certain to me, so will give up the search upon your say-so! On that note then, I may (just may) start to carry out the task manually. Sounds like a long, bornig job, but hopefully will be worth it in the end!

Hi all, May sound like a strange request, but I thought if anywhere, I'd find the answer here!... I'm after a spreadsheet/database containing all players ratings/values/info in one big file (such as an xls spreadsheet). I want to be able to sort all info at the touch of a button, rather than...

'19-08-11' must take credit for finding the info on Mr Bormann. I just read the article on Wikipedia and made the rest up about there being a family football team! lol!

lol... there's a sub-plot to this story already! Martin Bormann had 10 children, 1 less than a full line-up of 11 players... maybe 'Pablo' was the 'lost player', who was later found on the shores of Argentina! The prodigal son then comes to Europe to make up for lost time in the 'Bormann XI'...

When buying in new players etc., it may help to chose players with similar personalities to those already in your squad. For example, many of my team are described as 'Ambitious' or 'Fairly Ambitious'. Having many players with similar personalities should, in theory, produce a better squad...

If of any use, look for good attributes in Long Throws, Balance and Strength for selecting your long throw-in takers. :)

Basically then, Setanta will have nothing to offer me any longer!

Thanks again Zeb for your response. *** *** *** Although I would say I 'needed' an assistant manager, I have reverted to doing the following myself: > Press Conferences (unless match is unimportant etc): So that I can get the blame if the players do not react well to the responses etc...

Just been reading through this thread and there are some great ideas knocking about! Some I think are more realistic than others in terms of being likely additions. Personally, I wouldn't like 2010 to be too much different to 2009, and would like it to have a very similar file system to what we...

Reverting to the original post, and the 53 year-old Steve Thompson, I thought you might like to read his entry on Wikipedia's website: Steve Thompson <Click Here> The last few paragraphs of the first section, and the following chapter entitled 'Return to the First Team' suggest that our first...

As you may be aware, I am manager of FC Gute in the Swedish 2nd Division (4th Tier), and because of this, none of my players have photos (not in any facepack I've ever seen anyway!). So, just out of curiosity, I looked for my star striker (and now Premier League outfit IFK Malmo target) Hussein...

Cheers Zeb, I knew about the method on the individual's report page - I just wondered if the coach could be configured, whose ratings show on the squad page. (if that makes sense!)

Being the boss of a team whose star player is worth 1K, I find him most useful in the following areas: > Giving opinion on team report (and options for strengthening the team) > Filtering out unrealistic targets when searching for players/staff etc (although I find it rather amusing that he...

Maybe slightly off-topic, maybe not... The prize money figures for end-of-season league position - is this accurately implemented in FM2009, or the latest updates? I was just browsing google, and found the following link, which made me think to ask: EPL Money Table

Thanks for this info. I'm one of the few that didn't know as much! :)
