I think Mata has had a better first season than Silva but that's down to style of play. City were a defensive team and Mancini didn't let Silva express himself enough. But now it's different.

Silva. I think Silva edges Mata in everything but finishing and shooting. Both top class players. And Silva does carry a small injury problem aswell....which affects him at times.

The league need players like Mata, Silva, Yaya, Aguero, Suarez etc.... It must have been frustrating to watch United dominate the league with a midfield of players like Carrick and Fletcher.
