Arsenal Report - Zonal Marking for Gooners

Here's another one I like: "The lack of trophies is intentional"

Arsenal Report - Zonal Marking for Gooners

Hehe here are my favourites so far: "Massimo Busacca’d" "Real Gooners don’t date Spurs fans" "No, you may not see our Thierry Henry tattoo" "Now with 300% more interactive clickable things!" "Where buying young boys equates to fiscal prudence" "Harry Redknapp's worst nightmare"

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

Well Barca supporters are sensitive about their club. (H)

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

Nope, plenty of clubs have been wronged by Barca, we're not the only ones. Thanks for pointing that out. =) ---------- Post added at 10:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:12 PM ---------- Wanting to have the same structure, financial wisdom and general approach doesn't mean you have to...

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

If this was true, Barca would have bought Kaka instead.

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

More like you are refusing to take in the obvious facts. ;) My hatred for Barca goes a long way back. They've been unsettling and eyeing our players for years and years, obviously they want to be like us. Overmars, Sylvinho, Hleb, Henry, etc. And now that they've gone for their own youth...

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

Yes, Barca are the reason they won the WC bid. Using Guardiola and Rosell, with the weight of recent triumphs in the Champions League and the World Cup pushed the votes. It's not as simple as you put it either. Barcelona hasn't had a shirt sponsor since the club was formed. The attitude was...

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

That's not really what I said though. I said that if player A is worth this much, and player B is worth this much....then Cesc is worth £100m. But as I've said, £60m+ is a fair value of his talents.

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

So Cesc is only £5m better than Andy Carroll? (H) What his club value him at is the price. It doesn't matter what the "market value" is, if we don't want to sell him for less than £60m, we don't have to sell him. And we shouldn't.

Again, "proof" about what Barca players were instructed to do or not is hard to come by, but you'd only need a pair of eyes and a neutral stance against Barca to see it. Regarding the other stuff, you can find facts about them everywhere. Or are you saying it was just a coincidence that...

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

Of course Barca would never admit to it, that would be against the rules of the sport. But it was blatantly obvious to anyone without a Xavi poster above their bed. Haha not better than Kaka? Why would Barca want him then? (H) As I said, anything below £60m is insulting. You are a Barca...

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

Well no. Real Madrid didn't instruct their players to talk about how Cristiano Ronaldo has "Real Madrid DNA", how he really wants to be at Real Madrid, etc etc. They just were persistent in getting him. As I said, there are varying levels of unsettling a player, and Barca takes the price.

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

No it's not. The latest example is the corruption in the Qatar affair, where the new "shirt sponsorship" is just a payoff to Barcelona for helping them get a lucrative World Cup event. Another example is the financial doping. Barca have bank loans for hundreds of millions, in a catalan bank...

Barcelona after Messi, Xavi and Iniesta - Your view

This is simply not true. And there are varying degrees of unsettling. Systematically instructing your players to talk about Cesc at all times to go around tapping up laws, for the length of several months, claiming he already belongs to Barca, bidding ridiculous sums and then acting belligerent...

I'd rather be embarrassing than corrupt. ;)
