Frankly speaking I never change field dimensions, I played at San Siro stadium in Milan that is quite wide but in my experience football field dimensions don't affect the team performances that much.

I don't use any OI and I leave the training to my assistant, in FM there are no shouts anymore.

Based on what he wrote I suppose SWM is the wide centre back but I'm not sure.

Balanced for away games is a wise choice if your team is not that good.
