I've been waiting for this, I tried last year and got to about 2024 before getting bored of dominating Europe without any decent prospects coming through the academy. Have you got the SM domestic leagues loaded?

If a defender's playing noticeably bad (sub 5.5) I'll pull him off as early as 30 minutes. Otherwise: 45 minutes if it's a won game (3/4-0 up) and I want youth on/cup game. 60 minutes if it's a tactical switch to influence the game.

442 has always been good, IRL and in the game. You just need to set up correctly tactically.

If he goes to City I doubt he'll play enough for that.

Drop him for awhile. Unless he's taken a massive drop to his physicals, he should pick it up sooner or later.
