Was given £20m for my first season - who to sign? Have spent half of it on Will Hughes so looking to sign some cheaper or freebie first team players including a striker and BPD.
Any recommendations? It's the second season in game so 17/18
I want to set up with wing backs and 3 x BPD.
I want to use a striker.
Whats a good way to set up within these confines?
3 CMs, CAM and 1 ST?
2 CMs, CAM and 2 ST?
3CMs and 2 ST?
All help appreciated. Thanks.
I really like the actual tactic and formation - I just wanted to somehow make it a little less insanely good haha. Like turning it down from a 10 to an 8. Easier said than done though I guess!
Anyone got any thoughts on how I could dial back the effectiveness of this tactic just a small amount? It's great winning every game but I have a pretty average squad and I just want to dial it back to the point where I'm overachieving but not to a crazy level.

Take nothing away from the OP, it's an awesome tactic.
I wonder about if I make it more of a 532 and drop...
Reasonably successful first transfer window.
Brayford will be the first choice RWB with loanee Randall providing back up.
Meanwhile Jason Steele comes in from relegated Blackburn as first choice number one, with Ivan Lucic set to learn from him with a view to ultimately challenging him for...
Also I'm using the striker version. I have two similar strikers in terms of the main attributes but one is a big physical guy and the other a bit more agile, smaller and quicker.
Which type of striker is recommended if other key attributes are fairly similar?
How long does it take to get complete familiarity? I have the tactic in all three slots but it's only about 50% and I had it on all preseason and am now three games in to the season. Is that normal?
Immediate Plans:
I always like to bring in my own Assistant Manager so I will be on the lookout for a suitable candidate after the termination of Dean Holden’s contract.
With a transfer budget of £5.5m – one of the highest in the Championship – there is scope to bring the squad up to a decent...
