You could maybe try changing the individual instructions for the strikers to better match their preferred moves?

Really don't know what to suggest, sorry! My strikers always seem to get goals, Bony got 39 last season and a regen who I used as backup got 20 (though he's got some great stats)

That is quite odd. They're both much better than my central midfielders haha. Have you noticed any reason they might not be scoring? Are they getting shots away from decent positions but just missing? Or are they not getting much time on the ball?

The midfielders you're playing with - what are their stats like for tackling and marking?

Just got an awesome result against Barcelona in the Super Cup. Scored loads of goals early on but conceded 2 from set pieces later in the game.

Hmm. That's odd. Maybe try changing the match training to Defensive Positioning for a while? It's weird because both centre backs are set to "tackle harder" so they should be making challenges. You could maybe change the two central midfielders' instruction to "tackle harder" too, see if that helps.

Are you doing the same training as me? Defensive general training and attacking movement match training? If so, how is the tactic familiarity level? I've just started my next season and my familiarity level is a bit low and I've also had a bit of trouble keeping clean sheets. Lost the community...

I see what you're saying about deep defending and offside trap, but hassle opponents is basically done all over the pitch and it forces the opposition into making errors on the ball. And yeah the deep defensive line (and 2 midfielders with defensive duties) helps out when the fullbacks bomb...
