Yeah, many many times and defrag too. Also, renamed steam file clientregistry.blob. Been going through everything i can find. Since I loaded windows from scratch it must be conflicting with something.

Hi Jak, I don't even have a save file yet. I'm running it fresh. It was downloaded from amazon and runs through steam.

Hmm, I tried those things on your list Jak, still doesn't work. I also reformatted and started fresh with WinXP and I still get same error. Any ideas?

I deleted the crash dumps folder. That didn't do anything. Jak, thanks I will go through them to see if it will help.
