I just got FM2013 and its not responding? How long roughly would i have to wait to let it load, cause its just not coming on!

So Basically my Football Manager 2013 is not coming on, yes it has been installed and so has Steam, when i go to play it, nothing happens, so i click to open it again and it says its running?? WTF lol.... Please, please help someone :)
