If you want to suffer, then pick random team in "lower" league - like austrian, czech, slovak, hungarian, polish.....
If you want to have it just "challanging" just pick better team from better league....

i got similar problems, even worse. I know lot of clubs in lesser leagues got transfer and wage budget so tight that you need to adjust transfer budget to 0 so you can have wage budget covering actual wages.
I was desperate with that and basicly all tactics here use different roles to do...
To dictate temo there is need to have familiarity of DMC/MC position? I am just playing advanced playmaker as AMC and some of them are not familiar with MC position....
I am not an expert, but i would play it like advanced forward + complete forward combo when they switch positions with each other....
Or deep lying forward + poacher (Rooney + RVP)

I like to find some tactic that works, have style i want to play somehow. But since i am playing for little schizophrenic teams, that tactic should be something.
I like to see what others are using, but frankly - i have problems with implementing some of them, because team is not built towards...
