After qualifying for the CL the Sunderland board gave me £10m transfer budget. Which went on making M'Vila's loan permanent and buying an unknown CB for 2m. That's it. With players getting too old, and not allowed to bring in more than one loan player my squad is actually worse this year...

Tried this with Sunderland - a huge test. FINISHED TOP 4 AND WON THE FA CUP. Absolutely mad. Easily best formation made on FM16 so far. The only transfers I did were to sell Adam Johnson (who was actually one of the better players) and to buy Khazri (who didn't get in the first team)

Obviously a good tactic... But I've played twice away against 4-3-3 and conceded 7 goals. Just lost 4-1 away at QPR! Every goal, Matt Phillips (AMR), gets ball, beats my WBL Kolarov, puts ball in box - goal. FOUR times. There is a weakness.

Tested it very initially, mid way through season with West Ham. It performed better than the tactic I consider best on this site, DEADLY CIRCLE V2. I think this could be even better. Will try a full season. Nice work! (I think)

Yeah it's the first season with Liverpool. V2. No signings. To be honest I think this particular match is scripted. I've just tested in with about 10 other (predominantly successful) formations / teams / pre-match comments etc and they put 3-4 past Liverpool each time minimum. Love the work...

Which version mate?

It's quite random. Creates loads of chances (that aren't taken) and regularly concedes three goals from crosses along the floor. I really wanted to believe this was the answer, and I really admire the creative approach... Not convinced 3 at the back will ever work on this game.
