Nathan Craig (Torquay) to Caernarfon Town Does the season start the same year as usual?

I want to make a league with teams of my local league. I want it to be a standalone league with no promotion/relegation, with possibly qualification to the champions league. How do I make this with the rules using the editor? Many thanks.
