I'm in December 2011 in my save and Blackburn sacked Sam Allardyce with the team in 13th place. Thought it was an odd choice and then it happened in real life!. Alan Shearer was appointed to replace him in the game.

How is the team doing? You can always buy some players. If you stick with the current squad I would suggest trying Kuyt/Jovanovic in the Ngog/Cole/Babel positions and see how they do. Give Danny Wilson a go at LB, he will do better than Konchesky and don't keep Shelvey marooned in the reserves.

Winning the title is about keeping Torres fit. In the demo he was scoring at 1.5goals/game and getting injured every 4th game. In my first save incredibly he only missed 3 weeks and I won the league despite or quite possibly because Gerrard missed 8 months. Kuyt was brilliant as a terequista...

Fully agree. He's excellent at left back and gains the experience to become a great ball-playing CB. Originally use him to cover for Agger injury/tired. Sold Soto for 2.3M and bought Fazio for 550k which was a great trade.

Ryan Babel, Maxi Rodriguez, Dirk Kuyt are better in FM than in real life. Lucas has been doing pretty well in real life this season.

Got Fazio for £550k at start of first season. Top quality defending although a touch slow but great with Danny Wilson in Stopper/Cover combo and absolutely lethal in attacking corners - almost 10 goals.
