Getting the exact same message. I had the xml bug so I fresh installed and it worked. Then downloaded the super pack of faces etc and getting the error your getting on first time of starting since installing pack. However, my game still works fine, but just know its gonna go **** up soon...

Yeah all patched up. I authenticated through Steam so have only ever played with the new patch as I only got it at xmas.

Hi Sean - Right, Got into second season, no problems, then I get xml problem hit me. So I do the jobby on microsoft, still not working. So I remove FM09 and re-install. Problem being is, it only allowed me to remove the game from Steam, it would not remove the windows game or shortcuts...
