I would go against visual improvement, I don't want this game to consume 20gb+. Improvement in DoF would be very nice as I've yet to find DoF as useful.

You can see the difference between Poacher, advanced forward etc in the tactic creator screen. Defensive wingers are useful if you're facing an opponent with an attacking full/wingback. An example of defensive wingers are Park Ji-Sung, Ryan Bertrand etc

I think player value are based on how much time he has on his contract, wage, etc If the player is playing at higher reputation & higher division, then his value also increase player under 18 also has higher value (correct me if I'm wrong here)

don't get too disheartened with just one lost, how long have you been playing fm? I might not be an expert but to play this game you need to do a lot of trial and error :)
