I have the Mexican league and a large database loaded. However, for some reason I can't seem to find Jose Carlos Van Rankin. Has anybody managed to find this guy, if so your help would be appreciated.
The performances vary from save to save I guess. Perhaps Azpi is a better fullback but in my saves Peruzzi rocks all the time. The only downside is his asking price which is rarely below 30m.
Aside from the finishing issue, I think he's an excellent value buy along with Brandt with both becoming available on a Bosman during the second half of season 1.
There are other equally good DM in the game like Diego Reyes, Kondogbia, Duncan, the Romeros and if you're willing to be patient for a season or two, the likes of Pugilese and Rossiter can also perform very well in that role.
