hmm what i do with arsenal and england is adapt the formations, but not too much, i only use 2-3 different ones (4-1-3-2 is the best with arsenal imo if you can find good players). A thing that makes lots of impact is checking the players reccomended role (box to box midfileder, etc) and change...

some teams are like that, it *might* depend on the nationality? i can exchange most players with teams withing the pl, but with german/french teams i could only exchange players that were of the same nationality as the team. Might have something to do with work permit acceptance too, or maybe...

Have you checked the reccomended settings for your players and put them as such during the match? I used to draw everything on my bolton save until i noticed those x.x...
