I have found that in the last few FM releases, they have really done a good(?) job of having better scouting, especially in lower leagues, so the players there don't tend to be weird worldies anymore.

Finishing mid-table is probably a pretty good achievement given the quality and standards of the club. Hopefully next year, you can make the push to promotion.

I was sort of thinking the same thing -- combine an FM14 purchase with the purchase of a new laptop. I have this bad problem where my "computer performance" rating is at a half star so loading any more than one country at a time means 2 stars or less for my "game speed" option. Any advice?
