I have him set to Advanced Playmaker -- Attack in most games. He seems to do fine there, but of course, any player's performance will in part be dictated by their teammates.

What Lazlow said. Or just train him in finishing for a year straight and set him as the poacher role in Raikan's might and magic tactic. He works great with a striker partner.
