It depends what setting you use. A lot of people who play through a season in 5-6 hours whiz through it using text-commentary only and both highlights + moments in between highlights as fast as they can go. Personally, fully focusing on the game I could get through a months matches in an hour...

Maybe try a different tactic or formation in the league? Maybe your created one isn't right for belgian football but is effective in Europe where they don't know what to expect. If you finish mid-table it'd be a 50//50 with being sacked but if your contract is up I'd expect it to not be renewed...

Well after having a firesale on my Everton save I got in Kiyotake, Stracqualursi (again) and Essien on loan, them 3 players have a combined 3 goals and 4 assists between them in my first 2 games in the premier league, not too shabby but we'll need to see what happens.

Could be anything, who did you play in your friendlies, did you rotate the squad enough, how many friendlies did you play, when and who did you sign, did you play the new players in the friendlies? Look at Everton this season, they got an extra week off and 2 friendlie less than they usually do...
