Yep, that is what happens in most (if not all US sports). Certain players, usually those with big contracts, when negotiated can ask for a 'no-trade clause' which gives them a chance to refuse trades.

At the start of my second season at Man United I got ?119m to spend. Not sure why you don't have nearly as much. In fact, I've no clue why I have that much to spend.

Scout reports and 'star' ratings are based on the level of players you currently have. As you're in the BSP, it's likely that your players are generally rubbish relative to him, which would give him a high star rating from your scouts. Looking at it from the point of view of a PL team, he likely...
As a deep-lying forward, I think Jovetic is a great bet. He can dribble, pass, hold up the ball, and bring Reus and Gotze into play. In my last Dortmund save (post-patch) I sold Lewy for €35mil and picked up Jovetic for €20mil. Didn't regret it at all.
Tbf, they did do that before they started their title winning season, and didn't do that last summer. They will probably load up on some stars this summer if Mancini stays true to his word.

I laugh at those who only sign players if their star level is high enough.
His stats are ridiculously high! What jumps out at me are the 20/20 Pace &and acceleration. I've never seen that before. I've only ever seen one regen with 20 pace and 18 acceleration and his other stats suffered because of that.
I'd love to know what his pa/ca are.
So far, 7.8 rating through the first 6 games of the season. Not too bad. And I'm alternating between 2 tactics when I see fit. One of them is Raikan's 433 madness tactic and one in which I have a 3-1-2-3-1, which I've unimaginatively called 3-defender tactic :P
