Starting from the bottom.
So I took a job at Wrexham to start again, new rig and new Steam install. I've had a good pre season leading up to my opening fixture. Gonna be a long one though, I only had 1 coach, no scouts and one dr on staff!! This is going to be interesting!

In my experience closing down defenders can cause them to give the ball away in dangerous areas, especially if their composure and concentration stats are pretty low.

Patch update
Well the new patch has just downloaded on my game, I've read the release notes and there is nothing about any changes to the match engine, unless I've missed it. I'm on course for a fantastic season so far so I hope nothing has changed! :P Only lost 1 in the league and 3 draws...
Even my young players like this formation. I'm using these players in the EFL cup cause I don't care about it, turns out they do! Huddersfield and Brighton I expected wins against,a 3-2 win against Man Utd was a nice surprise and now 1-0 up after the first leg of the semi against Spurs! Lads...

After seeing a few suggesting doing lower leagues I thought I'd give it a go! Started unemployed and took the Grimsby job, predicted finish. This should be fun!

Well I've gone back to using WB's again but I've changed my left and right mids to out and out wingers. Scoring more again, conceding 1 every now and then, can deal with that. Chances created seem to be increasing.
Edit: Not sure what I've set the WB's on this but I'm finding more defensive...
