Totally disagree. The current style/model was only introduced by Pep. Rijkaard and his predecessors all used very different systems. As Mike said, he was incredibly effective on the wing, that Pep changed the style to make him the side's focal point.

Well....I won the CAF Champions League!! Stepped down, and got offered a job the same day... Accepted it. Sat 19th in Primera. Money is tight, and my squad is tiny. Lovely!

An update from me. I managed to win the title, and am currently at the end of 2nd season, with the club in the Group Stage of the CL. Won the Confed Cup and CAF Super Cup twice. Hopefully I can get out of South Africa by the end of this year!!

couple more weeks as far as I can see. Mbabu is highly rated, apparently we have paid £1m for him. Xisco gone. I actually feel a bit sorry for him, never got a chance to show what he could do.

Would have been ideal, I signed him for Getafe for £4.4m, he led me to the Champions League in third season.
