A narrow diamond midfield utilising a halfback to cover defensively allowing the wingbacks to push forward to provide width. A Mezzala adds an asymmetry to the attacking width. Attacking play is versatile, being counter attacks, balls in behind and neat build up play as well as good set pieces.
