I noticed a lack of 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow formations so thought I would offer my own interpretation. It is working well for my Crystal Palace save. I'd welcome feedback and FMBase testing.

A narrow diamond midfield utilising a halfback to cover defensively allowing the wingbacks to push forward to provide width. A Mezzala adds an asymmetry to the attacking width.
Attacking play is versatile, being counter attacks, balls in behind and neat build up play as well as good set pieces.
