This is my SM team, but we can't seem to hold possession or anything like that, and always concede goals that seem so simple to defend against

I just can't seem to get this tactic to work. The only team we've beaten with it so far is Liverpool. We hardly have any possession, and never seem to have as many shots either. We also seem to get carved open by the simplest passes! It's really frustrating seeing that it works for pretty much...
