Ok - thanks all. It is on default settings and the preferences for Match are all ticked to show crowd, sky, etc. My laptop is a few years old, so it's probably that factor outlined by WJ above. Maybe in FM 17 I'll just see the ball flying around the pitch with the players removed!!!

I seem to have prevented this now, by only ever going back to windows when FM16 is running, when the screen is not 'doing anything'. i.e. never when calendar is running, saving or loading a game. Game hasn't frozen since doing this.

This is happening to me all the time. Always on the calendar screen. Five times in the past couple of hours or so......extremely annoying!

Hi all My saves just keep crashing after about two weeks. Always when on the calendar screen. Didn't happen on the beta version. Anyone else experiencing such issues, and if so anyone know of a fix please? Thank you all in advance
