Worst part of all this is I'm 100% sure he's actually put people off of playing the game, and in the worst case probably off of buying it. There is no doubt there are people that have enjoyed playing this game and posting tactics on this site (and SI) that have just quit doing that because of...
2nd season with Rotherham - same tactic and setup as described in my last post (#232), except I changed mentality to balanced against the bigger teams.
Plenty of transfers. Mostly the usual young talents though. So in terms of ability we should be fighting below mid-table at best imo...
The one linked in post #206 is just silly good. :O
Playing as the worst team in the Championship 1st season, Rotherham (at least they were predicted 24th). Quality and resource gap between us and top team Stoke is enormous. Wage budget of 130k vs their 950k and average ability about 20-25...
With United I didn't change anything (just played on Attacking like it is) - but yes, with instant result to. Don't think Knap uses Instant Result though, and he frankly had even better results with Man Utd with the tactic, so not sure it matters.
What he said :D
Rosenborg is definitely the best team in Norway, not by a landslide these days though. But should still win the league. I still feel like we won the league way to easy though.
But yea, winning the CL with them first season with players of 120-130 ability is crazy. I think I...

Best underdog tactic I've tried since the CM days of Diablo I think - no comparison though, Diablo was broken, this is just good.
Instant result every match - changed mentality to...
Not sure if this is what you mean, but here.
DC left and right same instructions
WB left and right same instructions
SC left/right same instructions
Corner/Free kicks left/right same instructions
Haven't played FM2018 at all since just after it came out. Tried Kungfu 434 from this post #129
Simulate match, no match plan. Tactics training for match training and same roles as tactic for individual Resting before and after matches. No OI.
Won every competition we were in. Lost once in...
Assuming you're asking shirajzl, but I'm leaving anything team-talk or press related to my 20 motivating skill assistant. Maybe having an assistant with that much motivating skill also helps on those in-game touchline shouts, I dunno. Just works for me at least. Been playing this way the last...
I dunno mate. I find that very hard to understand, cause if anything the big games are the easy ones with this tactic. I constantly smash the PSG and Real Madrids with 5-6-7 goals, while I struggle more with Hull and Stoke for instance. Maybe instant result really is the trick then.
Yes it's with instant result, and I've said that about 15 times already I think, so you really should have seen that if you actually read my posts. xD I still have no problems winning with normal play though. Just constantly use sideline team talk "Assertive > Concentrate" throughout the match...
If you click on my name and check my post history you'll find most of this, but here goes..
99% on counter. Sometimes I change to defensive just to keep the other teams guessing if I feel we're starting to not get the right results.
Training until tactic is 100% fluid:
Training after:

Season done. Hull ruined the perfect Premier league season with a 1-1 draw. Had to play them between 2 matches against Bayern though so we didn't field a very strong team. Bayern away was our only loss of the season.
Can't believe we had to play Monaco, PSG, Bayern and Inter to win the EURO...
I certainly wouldn't mind trying some of those 4 at the back with striker(s) tactics. All those results seem more than good enough with Spurs. Not sure how much time I'll have to play the next few days though.
