I donloaded what i thought to be a database file but it turned out to be an xml file how do i start the game with the xml file

I Had a season with Tottenham Finished 4th Won carling cup and knocked out of Champions League at Group stage so second season got 22m so spent it and things went a little downhill so i restarted back to end of first season now it will only give me 2.8m wats happened
