I honestly think typing this comment and waiting for an answer already cost you more time and effort than just trying out yourself whether you can open the tactic in FM15. ;)
It has been updated, there is now a v2.
As far as I can tell, the main change from v1 is that the left CD has a cover mentality and some changes in the closing down section of that CD.

Looks interesting, I've been wanting to play an overload tactic since the gung-ho days, that's ages ago. I always used to play extremely attacking, but in the latest versions gradually went backwards to control or even standard/counter. So I would love this to work!

Mr L, could you answer some questions for me about this tactic?
- ML/MR: winger type players (left foot on left, right foot on right) or inside forward type players?
- 3 shadow strikers: Striker type players or attacking midfielder type players?
- Also, left footed player for the left shadow...
