Well, I usually play possession, and I find that a high defence with offside trap actually helps. You need to have VERY concentrated defenders with good anticipation but it cuts most attempts at through balls. The biggest problem is dealing with pacey dribblers in the flanks.

I prefer attacking and short passing football, but I don't use the same tactic with two different teams. I also adapt the role based on the player, no exceptions.
For example, if I have a wide player that is pretty fast, has good anticipation and off the ball but doesn't have very good...
