Very weird bug. At the start of the 2016/17 season, all of my players' histories lost 5 years - that is to say, that seasons 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2015/16. So there's a 5 year gap in the player histories, and any players signed during that 5 year gap are treated by the game...
