Just unlocked this achievement today playing as Elgin. Romped the third division with a front three of Jamil Adam, James Cronesberry and Craig Gunn. Finished third in the second division and won the play offs (final against Livi: 0-1, 4-4). Would've won the league if Adam didn't miss 15 games...

Depends on your players, but I've found success in the lower Scottish leagues using two tactics and switching if I go through a bad patch. 4-1-2-2-1 (I think? DM, CM, CM, AML, AMR, ST) set to control and then overload if I need a late push and a standard 4-4-2 set to counter attack. Play around...

I got this idea from another thread, but I've bulked it up a bit. The idea is to follow in the footsteps of a footballing great (or good) and win at least one trophy at all the clubs they've played for or managed. I've tried to use a mix of people who had decent playing and managing careers...

I don't think you get to pick the players you want from your feeder club -- they just get to pick players to send on loan to you. Hope they choose wisely!

Hold a meeting with your team. I've gone in and told them not to worry about the blip in form and that we're good enough to go up (or win the league). They normally get a boost from that, then I ask my captain and the room to chip in. Everyone's happy.

I like that idea. Maybe you have to win a trophy or promotion with a team before moving onto the next (not necessarily in order). I'm in a Scottish game at the moment, but I might do it later on (or find another manager to emulate). Good thinking!
