I had the same problem with a good tactic I'd made in FM13.
To combat this I installed FM13 again and wrote down all the player positions and roles etc and then put this into FM14 albeit with a couple of minor tweaks due to changes in the tactics creator.
How about a narrow formation?
Something along the lines of a 41221 or a 41212.
Or if not one of those a 532 with 3 CB, 2 WB then 2 CM, 1 AM and 2 SC?
Look forward to seeing if you can have a go at these as I'm having a slight tough time getting them to be consistent, it using the right...

I do like the tactic though very strong and still looking good for me with 11.2.

Currently using it with League One side Rochdale whom the media predict will finish 23rd.
Started off with 4 wins on the trot but then was blown away by MK Dons 7-4.
Anyway after a slight hiccup in form we play so much better with this tactic than other flat 442's...
