basically -9 means that the player has a potential ability which is randomly generated between 160 and 175 (I believe)

Try Julian Faubert (or however it is spelt) 140k on loan for the season from West Ham also try using haris vuckic, he has a -9 potential ability which means he has a potential of between 160 - 175
