    Tactic starting to decline.

Uh huh. It's a quarter to midnight right now so I'm not staying up to play with you tonight. Two things: 1) I took exception to four things you posted. Which one of them was I wrong about? 2) I have my own links from your source material. I had a funny feeling you'd go this route so I...

    Tactic starting to decline.

I did check my game before my post. You were wrong. I did check your link, and some others, before making this post. As far as I can tell you don't know the basics. In fact, guidetofootballmanager had some good advice about using a higher tempo to avoid being closed down when using a shorter...

    Tactic starting to decline.

The more attacking mentalites don't make the forwards pass more direct, they make players with attack duties pass longer so in the OP's tactic the ST won't be affected by a change between Control and Standard because he's on a Support duty, it's the LB and the RW who will pass a little bit...

who you going to be on FM15?

Definitely Tactical for me, I'll leave the tracksuits to my staff. In the last two versions of FM I've had a lot of fun in the K-League so I'll start off with the team I usually manage in Korea, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, and after that I'll go wherever seems interesting.

Attacking and defending as a team : A project with Mainz

It's hard to answer this without knowing what you're trying to do. I've seen some people define teamwork as 11 guys with unique responsibilities all doing their jobs with that resulting in a great team; I've seen others define teamwork as 11 (well, ten) guys all moving up and down the field as...

Attacking and defending as a team : A project with Mainz

What exactly do you mean by attacking and defending "as a team"? It seems to me that the team instructions, the player duties (in particular the fullbacks), and the Balanced fluidity are going to result in isolation.

    Advice needed

Fair enough but isn't pace going to be a problem no matter where you play him? I'm not an expert at this game but let me give you my reasoning and I welcome constructive criticism. I don't think he can play back, his pace isn't the only physical problem, his agility isn't much better plus...

I'd retrain him to right midfield.

    "Soccer" in the US

I think of it this way; the fact that Coulter and others like her even feel the need to comment on soccer shows that the game isn't quite the dog they claim it is.

Hello all. I started watching soccer in 2006, the World Cup. I got hooked. I did play as a kid but American youth soccer is incredibly boring so I dropped it as soon as I was old enough to play tackle football. If I had known how interesting the game gets at higher levels I would have stuck with...
