In this Screenshot you can see the total domination of Vanarama National League by Wrexham, it was defensively sound along with being ridiculously good in attack. In this season Wrexham won VNL and FA Trophy.
This tactic is a 3-4-1-2 system or a 5-3-2 with 2 CDMs.
It uses a BWM and a Secundo Volante along with a SS for its midfield.
Wingback provide width and stay near the lines which allow the BPD(de) to bring the ball into the midfield and find a through/lofted pass.
WBs rotate the ball with the Secundo Volante and BWM, who in turn look for passes.
WBs themselves look for early crosses.
Most goals are scored from inside the dbox.
a. Shadow striker gets unbelievable number of goals
b. Works best with a strong PF with good heading.
c. BPD-De roles are prone to running with the ball at feet before passing long. Good passing and vision BPDs are gem.
d. Defence is good normally, you can switch to balanced for more defensive stability. Going below balanced invites too much pressure.
