Wins games almost entirely by outscoring the opposition.
First used on an Aston Villa save where I had the best young AM in the world and the second best became available on a free so I had to find a way to fit them both in.
Maybe it is only unbeatable with the absolute best side (I have a super team now) but with AMs with 15+ Finishing and great Off the Ball it's very effective. I have used it on a West Brom save where I got to 3rd in the first season in the Prem using it as a secondary tactic. Whenever I am struggling to create I switch to the 4-2-2-2 and seem to turn the game around very quickly. Still vulnerable against the best sides unless you have a great defence though.
On Villa save I won the CL final 8-1 against Real Madrid.
