Here's my alternative 4-3-3 formation, with two MEZ messing with opposition defence!
The Mezzalas create a lot of space with their combined movements in the flanks. This space is often exploited by the Inverted Wingers, who are constantly looking for overlaps and underlaps in the moves of the mezzalas. In addition the fullbacks are moving down the flanks creating overloads in opposition defence. The striker is not to score a lot of goals, but is critical to provide the necessary space for the rest of the players to move and score.
This tactic has lead my Wrexham team to the second place of Premier League in my third year in the senior tier.
Hope you enjoy!
