Works for me on FM 20, i wonder if also works on 21. I couldn't test this because SI don't sell the game in Brazil.
Despite all of that, you should expect a very high intensity on the offensive side, with many chances. If the match proves too rough, you should considered to unmark the option "Work Ball into Box".
With the right players at the right roles i don't even has to change the play style for away matches.
And, of course, if the playstyle suits you, have fun, that's the whole objective.
