I'm running a 5-3-2 with one midfielder playing a bit more defensive OOP. I want my team to put through balls to the strikers or my wingbacks so they can run in behind and put low crosses into the box. I also want to utilize quick counter attacks with the Gegenpressing ofc. Everything is working pretty good most of the time, especially in the League. I'm seeing a pattern though where against elite teams they exploit the space behind my full backs to create good chances. Against elite team I also have way less possession (30-40% against compared to the abt. 50-70% I normally have) and my team has less chances.
