Foxy showed in the streamer showdown it is possible to go strikerless, so I tried to make a defenderless to counter it. So far it seems to be terrible but I want to see just how bad.
The midfield essentially operate as a back line, so I have ball winning mids and defensive wingers to assist with the defensive duties, 4 across the attacking midfield and 2 up top. I have made a few versions of this defenderless tactic, one in which I gave up a little bit and accepted having defensive midfielders as the back line instead. I am curious to see if any of these are even remotely successful when tested.
